IECL’s Accreditation Pathway is designed to ensure that the organisational coaches trained by us learn the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Core Competencies of coaching and meet the standards required by our corporate clients. This positions IECL at the leading edge of the organisational coaching profession.
IECL’s accreditation pathway consists of three levels of training, with certification at Coaching Essentials 1 and 2, and full accreditation with our Organisational Coaching Accreditation, Level 3. An ACC Fast Track program allows you to apply for ICF Credentials after completing Organisational Coaching Essentials, 2 and the Fast Track program.

IECL coach training is open to people with some experience in the corporate arena (public or private) or a background in the fields of management, human resources, facilitation, consulting, psychology, counselling, training, education and/or leadership and ideally with a degree or some equivalent work-life experience. There are no specific “prerequisites” for the program, but we do expect that you will be both reasonably mature and have some experience in how organisations operate. Additionally, each level of training requires the previous level(s) to be completed first. Coaching Essentials 1 and 2 are prerequisites for our Principles of Organisational Coaching (POC) and Team Coaching.
Languages
Currently IECL coach education is conducted in Cantonese (some Hong Kong courses), Mandarin (some China courses) and English (all other courses). Language of instruction is clearly indicated in each course listing.
What does the program cover?
The accreditation program includes three consecutive levels of organisational coach training, with each level being taught in a blended learning environment: including online learning with a three day experiential workshop. You will receive a rigorous and practical training in organisational coaching and you can graduate after Coaching Essentials Level 1 or 2 with an IECL Certification in Organisational Coaching Essentials at that level. After Level 3, you will receive IECL Accreditation in Organisational Coaching (the full ACTP program) and recognised by the ICF for credentialing purposes. You can also apply for credentials via the ACSTH method using our ACC Fast Track program.
